My name is Kamal Tan and I have held the amateur radio callsign VS2FX since March 1957, a few months before Malaya's independence in August. A few months after independence, my callsign was changed to 9M2FX. Previously, I lived in Muar, but after getting married in 2019, I moved to Melaka.
I was born on 11 September 1937, and today at 13 March 2025, I have reached 87 years, 6 months, and 2 days old.
