Assalamualaikum. My name is Kamal Tan. I have held the amateur radio callsign VS2FX since March 1957 — a few months before Malaya's independence. After independence, my callsign changed to 9M2FX.

I previously lived in Muar and moved to Melaka after marrying in 2019. My QTH is at Lot 33, Kampung Baru, Sungai Air Hitam, Pulau Gadong / Bertam, 75200 Melaka.
